Cypress essential oil

Cupressus sempervirens

Steam distillation of twigs of this aromatic Mediterranean tree gives this essential oil its fresh scent with balsamic-woody nuance. Due to its effects on wellbeing, it is often used in regenerating baths and as it is a known vasoconstrictor and lymphotonic, it is no wonder we used it in our leg balm!

It blends well with essential oils of sandalwood, ylang-ylang, bergamot and helichrysum italicum (immortelle).
